Nusaiba Imady

Nusaiba Imady is the board Secretary for the Minnesota Deaf Muslim Community (MDMC). She holds a Master’s Degree in Gender and Sexuality from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London. She is currently a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Minnesota in the Asian and Middle Eastern Cultures and Media Department. She plans to soon bring her ASL proficiency to a level where she can give the board interpreter a break. She believes a strong cup of tea, a new fountain pen, and a romance novel can cure most ills.
