Deaf Gain Innovations Program

Empowering Economic Independence Through Deaf-Centered Career and Innovation Support

The Deaf Gain Innovations Program (DGIP) is one of our newest initiatives, designed to provide full access to communication and workforce solutions for Deaf, DeafPlus, DeafBlind, and Hard-of-Hearing individuals. This program equips participants with essential job skills, career training, and entrepreneurial resources, empowering them to secure meaningful employment or even start their own businesses. By addressing common barriers to workforce entry, DGIP fosters economic independence and professional growth within the community. So far, we have enrolled 17 individuals in this program, each working toward their unique career goals. One of our proud success stories is Pam’s Delicious BBQ, a thriving business launched by a DGIP participant—demonstrating the impact of this initiative in creating real opportunities for entrepreneurs.
